Advisory Board

Our EQAC Advisory Board membership consists of five senior members with the mixture of senior representatives from Academic and Employer back grounds. Most of them are former Deans of School from reputed UK English Universities. The Board will meet to hear reports on quality Assurance reviews and UK HEI establishment of collaborative arrangements.

Meeting Frequency

The Advisory Board convenes at least once in each quarter of the calendar year.

Quorum

Membership will have a mix of academics and employers and whilst the proportion will be left to the discretion of AB, there should be at least a 50% representation of each group.

Membership of the Advisory Board will be reviewed after three years, however a third of the initial board members will serve a term of two years and another third will serve for four years to maintain continuity.

Core Roles and Responsibilities

To advise on Academic strategy for EQAC current partners with the view to achieve their SMART objectives; acting as an Academic advisor in pertaining to their establishment and maintenance of UK HEI collaborations.

To advise EQAC on potential overseas collaborative opportunities for its current partners.

To advise on publications and other academic outputs.

To act as ambassadors on behalf of EQAC, attending key events where possible and networking with partners and their audiences on its behalf.

To support the academic project in its impact generating activities – offering advice on the development of the academic review patterns supporting EQAC in the dissemination of its academic collaborations to current and prospective y partners and potential users of the project.
